Cookie policy

They are needed for the website to work and do not require consent.

• he_consent: remembers your cookie choices. Duration: 6 months.
• he-member: only if you confirm the members’ rates by email, remembers on this device that you are a member. Duration: 12 months.
• Session and security cookies used during booking and payment, deleted when you close the browser or shortly after.

We also use the browser’s own storage (localStorage and sessionStorage), which works like a technical cookie and does not require consent either:

• he-currency (localStorage): the currency you chose for the indicative prices. Kept until you clear it in your browser.
• he-checkout-guest (sessionStorage): what you type in the booking form, so you do not have to type it again if you go back. It stays in this browser tab only, is not sent to us until you confirm, and is deleted when you close the tab or once the booking is confirmed.
• he-checkout-hold (sessionStorage): the reference of the booking being paid, so the same rooms are not held twice. Deleted when you close the tab or once the booking is confirmed.

If you allow them, we use Google Analytics 4 (Google Ireland Ltd.) to understand in aggregate form how the website is used. IP addresses are shortened. Cookies: _ga and _ga_* (maximum duration 2 years). With the same consent, he-ga:* (sessionStorage, this tab only) prevents counting the same booking twice.

We do not use marketing cookies at the moment. If we ever do, they will only be activated with your consent.

The interactive map on the Location page (OpenFreeMap, OpenStreetMap data) loads only if you ask for it and does not set cookies. Payment pages are operated by Nexi, which uses its own technical cookies.

You can change your choices at any time with “Cookie preferences” at the bottom of every page, or delete cookies from your browser settings. Closing the banner with the X keeps only technical cookies.
